Bethany #1 played another one with fellow church members Thursday nite under the grey skies of Chicopee at Tabernacle Church.  Bethany #1 somehow snatched another victory from the awesome Bethany #2 squad, winning 8-2.   Brian Knowles had a shut heading into the 6th inning, but Bethany #2 was able to put a 2 spot on the board by an infield hit by Greg Opal.

Bethany #1 was led by Abel Gagnon's timely leadoff hitting and great base running.  Eddie Caisse, Mike Milledge, Jeff Fuentes and the rest of the Blue Bethany Bunch put the hits together when needed.  Defensively, Ray Welsh made a nice diving catch at third and Eddie Caisse made a nice acrobatic catch in center field..or rather looked like an acrobat catching the ball?  I forget. :)  Well  that was the final game of the season and Bethany #1 heads into the playoffs in first place..God willing they can maintain their winning ways all the way to the championship.   Praise the Lord!
